When, exactly, are you no longer a kid?

It’s when you realize how important to your success in life pleasing other people is. Consequently, this is also when your life takes a down turn. You are no longer the worry free, fuck-everyone, kind of person that you used to be. Trying to please people can really take its toll on you.

What I’m saying here is merely my opinion, but at least I believe it’s true, and I’m glad that I recognize this because I consider it to be one hell of a stress factor. So, what do I decide to do in order to eliminate this factor? Go back to my old self; my kid self. I no longer care to be polite. I no longer care to say thank you (unless it is really deserved). I no longer care what others may think of me or my manners.

I like being this way.
